The devil is the impenitent enemy of God and man who obstinately works assiduously to steal, to kill and to destroy mankind as well as the integrity of God’s word. That same old subtle and deceptive foe that caused problems for mankind in Eden is at it again. This time, he has succeeded in passionately concocting several weird, eccentric and controversially bizarre doctrines and ideologies as contained in the “Da Vinci Code”; the “Gospel of Judas”; the “Secret Gospels” featuring the “rivals of Jesus”; the “Gospel of Thomas” and several others, all targeted at vilifying the integrity of the word of God and denying the deity and redemptive accomplishments of Jesus Christ our Lord. All the books of the Bible are inspired by God. There are no contradictions whatsoever. Instead, there is overwhelming harmony of all the books which were written by several authors at different era. Every word therein has a divine revelation enhanced by the Spirit of God. The Bible is the most credible and most popular bestseller in the entire world. The Scriptures state in 2 Pet. 1:20-21 that no prophecy of the Bible came about by the Prophets willpower or interpretations but that holy men of Godl spoke and wrote as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is not a book of superstitious fairy tales or myths. It is consistent with historical facts and supported by overwhelmingly accurate archeological evidences. It is a book with impeccable harmony and consistency in spite of the many authors at different dispensations. It has life transforming power with the highest moral code and edifying principles. It is more unique than every other literature on Earth. Hundreds of prophecies in the Old Testament about the birth, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ have all been fulfilled. Can it be possible that more than 40 human authors of the Bible who lived through far different era would all be lying or insane? I think not. In Matt. 5:8, Jesus affirms that the word of God will surely come to pass.
The devil has cooked up so much lies and will not relent in fabricating more heresies in order to subtly discredit Jesus Christ and also to cause people to doubt the credibility and authority of the Bible. For instance, Mary Magdalene is alleged to have been the most important Disciple of Jesus and also His wife as shamelessly fabricated and summed up in the novel titled “the Da Vinci Code” by an apparently possessed agent of darkness. Let me take a moment here to present my submissions on Dan Brown’s conjured blasphemy:
The Da Vinci Code has been erroneously described as a brilliant masterpiece. Wrong!! It is an uncouth, subtle and devilish confabulation. Note this: Satan will always fight to counterfeit the truth in order to bring humanity to utter ruin. He is the father of lies. Christians worldwide have been so incensed by the novel as well as its movie. But why? This is not the first attack on the personality of Jesus neither will it be the last. These falsehoods just appear periodically. Haven’t you read about the Gnostic gospel of Thomas which purports that Jesus Christ has a twin? Haven’t you heard the satanic lie that Jesus is a homosexual? Let me reiterate the immutable word of God which unequivocally states that the god of this age (Satan) has blinded the minds of unbelievers so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God (2. Cor. 4:4). Indeed I have great sympathy for these so-called intellectuals who bask in utter darkness and forfeit their eternity through sacrilegious ideological texts. Woe unto all who contend with the rock of ages. It would have been better they were not even born. God cannot be debased by mere mortals. Jesus is the only way to eternal life, period! All who battle against the prince of peace can never know true peace in their lives. Jesus is willing to forgive all who malign Him just as He forgave those who crucified Him on Calvary’s Cross. That’s the power of His love. Apostle Paul persecuted Christians and defied Christ until he had an encounter with Jesus Himself and was miraculously converted. He became one of the staunchest Christians that ever lived. Let that be the lot of Dan Brown and other cynics who presently wallow in gross darkness.
You will agree with me that the skeptics behind Holy Blood, Holy Grail and the Da Vinci Code could not have experimented their shrewd fictional prowess on some other revered prophet. If they had tried it, even their graves would have been burnt to ashes. The film “Passion of the Christ” by Mel Gibson is confirmed to have had tremendous and incredibly positive impact on millions of people worldwide, that it is believed to have led millions of souls to accept Christ as their savoir and lord. That definitely incensed the devil who has now invoked a counterfeit or rival film titled “the Da Vinci Code” featuring Tom Hanks and the rest. Fictional novels and films abound but one which seduces and insults our collective intelligence as well as blasphemes the Lord of glory is not worth a read. Ignore that “intellectual mess”.
Dan Brown claims his Da Vinci Code novel is rooted in meticulously researched historical facts culminating in his pack of lies which include:
1. That Jesus married Mary Magdalene and that the early church knew this but kept it secret inorder to protect the ideology of Jesus's divinity.
What are Brown's sources? Non-biblical and questionable reports such as "the gospel of Mary Magdalene" and the "gospel of Philip". But how about numerous other biblical manuscripts of old that assert the contrary? It is a verifiable fact that the four gospels of the Bible had all been accepted as authoritative over a hundred years before the birth of Emperor Constantine. Contantine the great is being erroneously vilified for manipulating the Bible and smuggling in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John through the Nicene Creed, enacted in AD 325 by the Council of Nicea which was established by Constantine. But there were over 200 Bishops and other Christians representing the church at the Council of Nicea which was essentially set up to resolve the dispute in the church based on disagreements about the doctrine of the Trinity. How could Constantine who was relatively a young Christian at the time, suppress the will of all the Bishops, church leaders and Christians present at the Council of Nicea? Tell me, who would know better about Jesus other than His disciples who slept, ate and walked with Him day and night? Is it a questionable character like Leonardo Da Vinci who is believed to have been a homosexual who suffered from depression and is also accused of painting a portrait of himself as a woman in the Mona Lisa portrait which is purported to reflect the ancient male and female gods of Egypt: Amon and Isis? The Mona Lisa portrait is confirmed to actually be the painting of the wife of a certain man, Francesco di Bartolomeo des Giocondo and in no way does the portrait depict the demon gods of olden Egypt.
I will not cease to insist that the Da Vinci Code is an outlandish hoax, unfounded speculation, nauseating riddle and unethical fraud. But yet, about 60 million copies are said to be in print, in over 40 translations. What will it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? The Bible says in Eccl. 10:8a: “He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it”
The Da Vinci Code is not merely a brain teaser as someone acknowledged. It is also a brain washer, inspired from the cauldron of darkness and satanic conspiracy as an anti-Christian weapon to rubbish the Church and maliciously cast aspersion on the deity of Jesus Christ through distorted and unsubstantiated intrigues and emotional blackmail. There are numerous flawed assertions in the Da Vinci Code as well as other false ideological works which are all infested with demonic virus’ that will definitely be shattered by the anti-virus power of the word of God. Watch out, every thing Satan meant for evil, God uses same to bring about his defeat and disgrace as well as the glory of the resurrected Christ. These false novels, doctrines and gospels will only expose the deception of Satan and lead countless lives to embrace Jesus Christ and His gift of righteousness. The popularity of a book is not proof of it's credibility. Since Dan Brown insinuates the deity of Christ is a fiction, then he should tell the world where Jesus is today? If he was mere mortal, where was his body buried? Jesus is risen and no conspiracy of darkness can change that reality.
It is not in doubt that Leonardo Da Vinci was undoubtedly a very famous and talented Italian painter who lived from 1452 – 1519. He lived well ahead of his time as his creative works were astounding. His notable paintings include the controversial Last Super and the Mona Lisa portraits. Contrary to many opinions, his last name is unknown (not Da Vinci). Leonardo Da Vinci means Leonardo of Vince. This incredibly artistic genius never painted Mary Magdalene in the Last Super. He painted Jesus with His twelve disciples and none was a female. The Da Vinci code is a mere indication that Christianity is under satanic attack. It is akin to a poisonous cake baked by a surreptitious author who in collaboration with powers of wickedness cunningly iced his venomous cake with exhilarating fiction and fable. Don’t taste it!
The “greatest conspiracy of the past 2000 years” is the attempt by Dan Brown and his weird collaborators to craftily smear and bring to utter disrepute, the deity and glory of Christ through provocative concocted falsehood. Suffice it to say that when a Dutch cartoon was released a while ago on the founder of Islam, the protests against that offensive cartoon led to the loss of many lives and properties across the world. While I do not subscribe to any form of violence whatsoever as such acts are unchristian, I vociferously posit that the Da Vinci Code and similar inciting deception be banned out rightly because of its highly sensitive and provocative disposition. Authors and publishers must learn to be sensible and responsible in their publications. Mary Magdalene was not the only woman who supported Christ’ ministry. She never fled to France after the crucifixion of Jesus as falsely asserted in Dan Brown’s book of trickery. She was one of those who saw Jesus after He resurrected. How possible would it have been for Jesus to secretly marry Mary Magdalene without the knowledge of His Disciples who were always with or around Him? There is absolutely no record of that in the four canonized gospels of the Bible. Jesus is the perfect atoning sacrifice for the sins of humanity. Even while He was on Earth, He had many enemies. Up till now, His enemies are unrelenting. Every lie has an expiry date but truth will abide forever.
Have you ever wondered why the personality and deity of Jesus Christ is always under attack? He has been called a sly magician; a homosexual whose boyfriend was, allegedly, one of His Disciples called Mark. There are several secret gospels which contradict themselves, e.g. the secret gospel of Mark; the Gnostic gospel of Thomas; the Secret Bible which purportedly reveals a rival of Jesus who healed the sick, restored the lame, fed the hungry, raised the dead and also died but rose from the dead after 3 days. He is believed to be a certain Apollonius of Tyana who supposedly was not fortunate to be as famous as Jesus Christ. The enemy has been concocting so much lies and rubbish that he is succeeding most impressively in tightening the hang man’s noose around his neck.
To Dan Brown and his fellow conspirators I say: if you cannot bring plausible evidences and facts about the Grail relics; about the fact that the Church suppressed the “truth” for 2000 years; about the so-called secret hoarded by the secret cults: Priory of Sion and the Knights Templar as well as other unsubstantiated demonically inspired theories of yours, then BE QUIET.
